Varigotti is a colorful hamlet of Finale Ligure, and still conserves evocative architectonic features, that brings us back of many centuries... in the old village and the small hamlet of Ca' dei Mori, as an example, we can see houses with Moorish architectonic elements, sign of the presence of pirates and Arabic merchants.

Varigotti is an appreciated touristic destination: the long and sandy beach, called Baia dei Saraceni, is considered among the most beautiful of the Western Coast of Liguria. The beach of the cape of Punta Crena is also nice.

The wild nature of the area, with the rocky and high coast that alternates with sandy creeks, is much evocative; there are however cultivated zones, with olive trees and vineyards, and some interesting caves, where probably the first inhabitants of Liguria lived.
