Santo Stefano al Mare
The town of Santo Stefano al Mare is situated in a geographic position that brings to it an exceptionally mild climate;
the village has interesting historical and artistic monuments, among which we remember the Church of Santo Stefano, constructed in the 13th century, and the medieval towers constructed in order to defend the town from the invasions of the pirates.
Today Santo Stefano is a quiet city, where it is good to stop for a walk and to enjoy the sea. Here, indeed, there is one of the rare sandy beaches of Liguria: the wider beach is the one called "della Torre" , but elsewhere the artificial reefs offer a place for bathing.
Approximately 600 meters from Santo Stefano, rises Marina degli Aregai: it is a creek transformed in touristic port, that accommodates more than 900 boats.
