The city of Moneglia is situated in a creek delimited by two capes, both full of Mediterranean vegetation: to the West the cape of Punta Moneglia and to East the one of Punta Rospo. Between the two capes there is the beach, of fine golden sand, and all around reefs that go in the sea and are perfumed by the Mediterranean bushes, reefs that create small hidden and romantic creeks.

Behind the long beach there is the historical center of Moneglia, crossed by a medieval caruggio (today via Vittorio Emanuele), hemmed in between high houses with colourful facades, where you can find stores of typical products and graceful souvenirs.
Moneglia has two historical churches, the church of San Giorgio, dated 1396, even if restored at the beginning of the 18th century, in the Western part of the town, and the Oratorio dei Disciplinanti, of the 10th century, in the Eastern. It is famous for its spectacular parvis, a colourful mosaic made of the typical pebbles of Liguria.
