Andora is situated between the two creek called Capo Mele and Capo Mimosa; in the centuries Andora has been inhabitated by the Romans, the Genovesi and the napoleonic troops.
Among the numerous tokens of these passages, we indicate: the roman bridge, a majestic building, dated to medieval age, the Tower of the Castle, built between 1220 and 1240, the Church of Santi Giacomo and Filippo, in Romanesque style.
Andora has a beautiful sandy beach and the possibility to practice various sports; but the sea of Liguria has a particularity: it is in an area where there is a rich population of dolphins, whales and other cetaceans. Therefore, it is not difficult to see one of these big animals, there are many tourists who try the whale-watching, an extremely exciting activity.
